I have used Turbo Tax for years. It has always helped me to file a complete return and maximize my refund. Someday I'll look back and figure out how much I've actually saved in tax preparation fees. It is simple to use and gives me high level of confidence in the accuracy of my return
What's great about it: Easy Import, quick review, great suggestions and reminders
What's not so great: Guided Interviews are not intuitive to get out of when nothing is left to enter

Turbo Tax was the easiest program I have used, very thorough, but quick and easy to understand and follow.

Have used TurboTax forseveral years now through easy to moderate difficult tax years. I have had no issues with them whatsoever. This year was just as reliable. I highly recommend them for your tax preparation needs.

2012 Turbo Tax Review

The only problem I had was that I wasn't promted (or I missed) entering the spouse W2 info and this mistake was not caught by the program. I was filing Married-jointly.
What's great about it: Easy navigation
What's not so great: When to print and when to save a PDF is a little confusing.

For the most part I like TT, but it definitely has areas where it needs work. The UI with HSA's and amended returns is clunky at best, and can lead to inputting wrong info at worst.
What's great about it: carry over info year to year
What's not so great: vague or incomplete directions
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TTT = Thorough Turbo Tax

Have been using T-Tax for many years and find it reliable, helpful and cost-effective. Although my taxes are fairly complicated (85 pages), I find TTax Deluxe adequate to meet all my needs. Advice in Help is usually fairly useful when questions arise about specific entries on the different tax forms.
Being able to import tax information from prior years, as well as all stock transactions capital gains is very useful.

What's great about it: Provides excellent leadership in doing taxes but it is also easy to switch between the directed and self-directed work
What's not so great: no major cons
