Using turbo tax for several years. Works well and it is fairly simple to use.

PC program works very well, Macintosh failed

PC filing worked fine on an XP
We have been wanting to use a Macintosh for two years to start doing our filing but this year the program failed after the 3rd screen and could not recover. Running 10.7.5 OS.
Please use better QA and design so this program will work on a Mac without any issues like the PC. I really want to move all my tax filing to a Mac OS environment.
What's great about it: PC flow is excellent
What's not so great: 2 years in a row I have had to give up on Macintosh filing

Makes paying taxes a little less painful

I've used TurboTax for a number of years and am generaly satisfied. I had some trouble updating my version this year using the download option, butthe tech support people were helpful and got me back on track quickly.
What's great about it: keeps track of all my info once entered
What's not so great: None

Confident it covered everything

In some ways it seemed clunkier than in previous years. But it all worked okay. When I went out and came back in, it didn't appear to remember my personal info until I went back and clicked the edit personal info key, and then it all automatically reappeared.
Print section led me into a FAQ on How to Print, instead of to a place where I could actually print. Finally found it by clicking around on my own.

What's great about it: The set up makes sure you enter everything that might possibly apply to your situation. Good!
What's not so great: When you get to the end, it keeps finding new things to fix, even if they weren't a problem before!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Once again Turbo Tax was easy to use. Turbo Tax provides helpful information as you complete your taxes. Love it!!

Taxes Are DONE!

Overall, the program walks you through all your options, and if you are not able to understand what it is asking, then you should have someone else preparing your returns.
What's great about it: I did it myself, and it was easy.
What's not so great: There were some changes made to the program this year, and I did not think it was as easy to understand.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is a very good way to do a extremely stressful job, it made taxes seem not so terrible. I will use it again next year.
