Simple and Straight Forward

First time user. No problems. Very detailed instructions.
What's great about it: Easy to useVery thorough.
What's not so great: I had no problems with TurboTax, but you may want to discuss those who were divorced during the tax year.

The good and not so good

Overall did a very good job. Was tiring using the deduction pricing and not all items I needed were there. I had a lot of items including a whole house cleanout and a storage unit cleanout to price. Gave up on a lot of items.
When finished, I E Filed the federal return but wanted to print and mail the State because there was no time crunch, Hard to find out how to print just the state. Finally figured it out..
Lost my wife this past year and turboTax handled that nicely.

Good to go

The program is easy to use for federal , but when you get to state there was some problems with city worked and city I live in. Just a little confusing at first, but I figured it out, and would not hold this against TurboTax but more to the state/city issue.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and helpful
What's not so great: not all cities are listed to help with filing state info.

Overall, I've used TurboTax for years and have been very pleased with the service, as evidenced that I keep coming back at tax time to do my taxes with the relative ease and reliability of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Reliable and very cost effective way of doing my taxes!
What's not so great: I would like to see more user friendly support for various tax questions/issues that come up within the course of filing

I have used TurboTax for several years now. It always works with no problems. I am a 60 something non skilled computer user, so if I can get thru this without problems, you have done very well. See you next year!

Taxes Made Easy

This product was very easy to use. It walks you through all the possible senerios for income/deductions. I wasn't sure if something could be deducted and it explains the tax law on a basic level to where I could understand it and feel comfortable with deducting it.
What's great about it: Self explainatory, easy to use even if not computer/tax savey.
What's not so great: The disk didn't work with my older apple mac pro that had last years documents on it so nothing would transfer.
