Easyist way to do taxes ever!

I've been using Turbo Tax for a number of years now and it makes doing your taxes so simple. Why would anyone pay to have their taxes done? I think even my mother could do this and she is 76! Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Easy to use, very clear, guides you every step of the way

Love Turbo Tasx

I have used Turbo tax for years and have thoroughly enjoyed tax time because I know that the software will be easy to use. I had a little glitch because of a new special situation for which I couldn't find an answer but was able to resolve it by making a quick call to a CPA friend.

Using TT year over year makes it easy because it copies all your information from last year's file. One thing to watch out for is make sure you run the error check at the end multiple times until you have no errors. It said all was fixed, but I ran it again and it found more errors.
What's great about it: Quickly got through my taxes
What's not so great: Be sure to run the check for errors multiple times instead of just once.

Too much nitty gritty details

My complaint is that one of the schools my daughter goes to sent us a 1098-T but the Fed ID number the school listed on the form was not considered correct by TurboTax. I had to delete the 1098-T from my return for the software to allow me to file! There shouldn't be this insistance of the program -- blocking me from filing. Plus as Turbo Tax may very well have the wrong information on the school, and it's FED ID number, how in the world can this be corrected? You should have a phone number to call so in real time this kind of problem can be corrected.
What's great about it: great interactive tool, allows me to file my own returns with confidence
What's not so great: program stubbornly asks for details that aren't important and won't let me file until I deleted somethings
