Turbo Tax - "A Must "

Over all Turbo Tax went well. The program for the most part went well. Some areas had some confusion such as the Tax Estimations pages regarding whether you paid estimated tax to Federal, State, etc. Also, was not able to print documents due to older version of Adobe Reader. Recommendation is to provide what version is compatible with your program and do it on the page were you print and/or save. Your help menus provided "for the most part" adequate information. It would be nice to have access to certain IRS forms (Ex. Form 8332) to print for your records when e-filing. And my number one downfall with Turbo Tax is that you do not provide a telephone number to contact a customer service representative if a problem is encountered. You do provide support once the program is loaded and running, but if you incur a problem before then, good luck. Over all I think that Turbo Tax is getting easier to use and customer friendly. Keep Up the good WORK. Thank you. Future Customer!!!!!!!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax did a great job transferring information
What's not so great: Lacked in flexibility to go back. Should be able to click tabs along with the "Back" icon

Great program and easy to use. Some items need more explanation like retirement income but otherwise it was clear.
What's great about it: Easy to use and help when you need it.
What's not so great: Some information in retirement income was not easy to understand.

Glad for a tool to do my own with a little assistance. Would like an alternative cheaper option of just filling in the form electronically
What's great about it: being able to go step by step or explore on my own
What's not so great: extended tax was confusing & I didn't like getting charged more for state filing after initial purchase price

Easy to use

I've used TT for years and keep coming back for a reason. It works and it's easy.
What's great about it: easy fill in the blanks entry; download entry of some forms
What's not so great: many income sources do not allow download entry

The convenience of filing at home can't be beat! No moments of "shoot, I left that at home!" (Plus sipping coffee and playing with the dog on breaks)
The thoroughness of TurboTax Deluxe is awesome for finding more money - for us, it was an Educational Credit that got us a much bigger return.
I love having the confidence that we filed correctly and were at a minimum risk for auditing - a great way to finish up a return - rather than the nagging doubt of whether you did it right.
What's great about it: Filing in PJs and Educational Credits!
What's not so great: none

Restart of TT after update

Not a big problem just a little frustating. Would be nice if the upates ran in the background (by choice.) Rather than copying in the new file over the older version. Move file to TT staging area in program space and moved into the program as soon as needed.
What's great about it: no problems with updates.
What's not so great: TT does not restart, after restart message

Easy To Use Tool

Overall good tool to use...however when your taxes get denied, they are slow to tell you they were rejected.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Sometimes you have to go back and re-enter information
