The ONLY slight annoyance is having to scroll down each time to click on the 'Next' tab. It would be nice if this was at the top - OR - if when you finished one section it brought you back down to the bottom automatically.
Other than that I have enjoyed using TurboTax for years!

All went well until...

Overall it went well. Filed Fed electronically and State via mail (owed state money). I will continue using because I have never had any errors impacting me like I did when I did it myself. Over 75 years old, so it makes it simple. Thanks, Bob
What's great about it: Easy to use... have used for several years on a PC and now on my MAC.
What's not so great: Had trouble working through the wait for 1040A

Just like a Pro - but Faster

I'm have prepared our taxes by hand for years. With Turbo Tax I no longer need to read and research the changes in the tax code. I compared my hands-on return to the Turbo Tax and it matched exactly - in much less time to prepare!! The It's Deductible tool is great for assessing the value of donated items. I also love that I don't need to re-enter data for filing state taxes. Turbo Tax save us time and money. We will be using Turbo Tax from now on for our personal taxes.
What's great about it: Easy enough for a beginner, with enough detail for a pro. Love the ability to flag pages and the community board.
What's not so great: None that I could find

Too many sub forms

for example, I have to wade thru a bunch of forms to enter charitable contributions, the personal wrksht before the info wrksht, dividend and 1099B worksheets. In Turbotax I used to be able to enter these directly on sch A, B, and D. How about making a choice for those more experienced who only use the forms.
What's not so great: the forms are getting more complicated, ie too many sub forms. I'd like to be able to enter my data directly.

I have been using TurboTax for about a decade or more. It has been very helpful in making us understand different topics related to the events in our life occured during the tax year (Child credits, Child college fees, Mortgage interest, Jobsearch or moving expenses) ..... very detailed.
