Turbo Tax Makes the Best of an Unpleasant Task

TurboTax is the only software I use for doing taxes. While I don't particularly enjoy doing taxes, it's about as stress-free as you can make the task, and still less expensive than paying an accountant.
What's great about it: You don't have to worry about the tax law changes.
What's not so great: Some help areas weren't that helpful - just pointed you in a general direction.

TurboTax is pretty good if you have a basic tax situation and it does a complete job.
What's great about it: The process leads you through the tax maze.
What's not so great: Sometimes it repeats previously answer questions.

MY FILING IS ALWAYS COMPLICATED BY HAVING TWO STATES INVOLVED. IN SOME PLACES REAGRDING THE TWO STATES, I WAS UNSURE JUST WHAT ENTRY WAS NEEDED. oVERALL, TURBOTAX MADE MY FILING MUCH EASIER

Might make tax filing fun

We have used TurboTax for years, back even to when it was MacInTax. It seems to get easier every year, especially when we have carry-over information to report. For the past two years we have filed electronically, and we are totally confident that our return is not only accurate, but safe and secure.
What's great about it: Once taking a week or more of our lives, we now finish in a few hours.
What's not so great: Printing instructions are a bit confusing.
