DIdn't let me change filing status. Always file that way (head of household, but made me file single. I have always filed head of household.

I have used Turbo Tax for at least a decade. It's easy to follow directions makes filing a breeze. It checks for errors and for additional deductions. I can do my taxes for the comfort of my home. No appointment to be made or waiting room to wait your turn. It's afforable and not stressful. I recommend it to family and friends. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future. And am looking forward to my refund which I usually get back fast. At one time I did use a Tax service, and H&R Block, and did it by hand as well. Tax services were too expensive and the waiting was aweful.

Good and Easy

I've been using TurboTax for about ten years and have only had one minor problem with the IRS. Quicken was correct but it took me 20 hours, many phone calls to incompetent IRS agents, countless letters and a congressman to get it straightened out. My returns are rather complex (30-40 pages long) but except for the medical areas not "matching up" with Quicken categories, everything goes well and I can complete the entire process in about three hours. I will continue to use TurboTax and recommnend it to friends.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Seems to cover everything.
What's not so great: Medical areas don't follow related areas on Quicken.

Program Still Needs Work

Traded one car for another during the tax year. Entered work related mileage for first car and the program went to other deductions without allowing me to enter information for the replacement vehicle. Had to do some searching and finally got to the place where I could enter the mileage for the new car. Not sure how I even got there.
What's great about it: Import of prior info is very helpful
What's not so great: Some sections not user friendly

I had a very easy time filing my 2012 tax return using TurboTax Deluxe! I was led thru all sections very simply and with the best results for my refunds from fed and state.

I have been using turbo tax for years, and now I not only prepare my taxes, but my family has me doing their taxes as well.
What's great about it: It quickly and easily took me through my taxes.
What's not so great: Having to re-buy turbo tax every year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
