Easy to use from start to finish. Automated email notifications and options for receiving software. Easy to use software and really like the filing checks and audit review. I feel very comfortable that my filing is correct and complete.
What's great about it: Easy from start to finish. From notifications of sofware availability to efiling
What's not so great: Price is getting a little high for efiling

Quick & Painless

Purchase of Turbo Tax was convenient to pick up on my weekly shopping trip and competitively priced. Download to my computer was smooth and quick, even though my laptop is getting old.
Running through the questions was easy and it was quick about 45 minutes to complete and file.

I have been using this for years without issue. makes tax prep time each year simple as it fills in repeated data from previous years

Turbo Tax: OK but not as good as previous years

I've used various tax programs in the past, including on-line services, TurboTax and TaxCut. TurboTax is pretty convenient, but this year's version didn't seem to remember where I left off when I stopped, saved and re-opened file to continue later. This happened a few times and I had to go back through sections I had already completed. Very frustrating. In past years, TT always remembered where I left off or what I had skipped and it was easy to come back to finish taxes later. Not so this time!
What's great about it: step-by-step guidance, estimate result shown at top as you go
What's not so great: Turbo Tax didn't remember where I left off

Easy Tax Return

Easiest tax software to use. Paying taxes is never fun, but this software takes the stress out of filing.
What's great about it: Love the option to be led step by step or go on my own

Review of Turbo Tax 2012

We've been using Turbo Tax for several years. As a non-tax expert, I believe this is the best product for us. It gives us confidence that we are paying only what we should in a complicated tax system (which should be simplified).
So, thanks for the good work on developing this program.

What's great about it: Fairly easy to use. For a very complicated process, I believe that your tax research is giving me good tax guidance.
What's not so great: Getting around in the program can be "clunky". It's hard to move back and forth between areas.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Loved it. Super simple. Transfer information from last year's return which sped up the process. So glad to be done!
