Excellent Product! The Best way to do Taxes!!!

Absolutely hands down the best way to do taxes. Even if you have not done them yourself before. Guides you through the entire process!

Overall, a big help to completing what to me would be complex and take at least two to three times longer without it. I appreciated how comprehensive it was.
What's great about it: Detailed, Showed potential credits from sources I had not even thought of
What's not so great: Still takes a while to get the returns done, but that is not the fault of turbotax

Lot of money back!!

Turbotax really helped me get the most money back. I don't think any other tax program could have ever helped me this much. Anybody looking for a way to do their taxes should certainly use Turbotax.
What's great about it: Fast, Easy
What's not so great: Nothing was bad
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Turbo Tax is easy to \use. Using the "step by step" process Turbo Tax easlily guides you through filling out your returns. A help button is available at each step to answer your burnign questions. At anytime one can get out of the "step by step" process and use the "explore on my own" feature to to review and edit ones return.
What's great about it: Easy step by step process. Also easy to go back and edit..
What's not so great: Nothing

I usually do several tax returns besides my own. I haven't attempted my daughters yet but hers can be difficult so will see how Turbo Tax works for hers!!!
What's great about it: Very easy to get through. Asked lots of necessary questions.

Last year for 2011 I e-filed my Federal taxes and thought I had e-filed my state. State never got the filing. Or at least the money. I was pentalized for this. I learned a very valuable lesson.

Terrific Tax Time

Turbo Tax probably shortens my tax preparation time by 80%. My finances are not particular complicated but after the IRS gets done the tax filing process is painful. Turbo Tax provides some anesthesia for the process. Perhaps that is bad. If the process was felt more we would protest more.
I'm not sure that this would be adequate for a business. When I had a small business I felt the need to hire a real accountant.
What's great about it: Makes an odious process les odiferous
What's not so great: a little opaque at times
