What? It's Done?

This was fairly smple. Just fill in the blanks. That is why I've used TurboTax year after year.
What's great about it: Quick and to the point.
What's not so great: Hard to find local tax rate?

Overall a GREAT program. I think the complexity is due to the IRS regulation complexity, not a choice of Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Led me through all details in great detail
What's not so great: Sometimes the number of questions was overwhelming, especially when I am reviewing the items entered before.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo for Dummies

I was leary on using Turbo Tax after the MN issue. I had to reboot to initiate the updates. After that, filing was a breeze. It built my confidence back with the product. thanks for working out the bugs. It is a very user friendly product. I liked the additional features of the partners for investments and such. That will come in useful in future years to have it on file! Nice updates.
What's great about it: Helpful tips and ability to print out to include w/ taxes to make sure all paper work is compiled before doing the taxs

Taxes the Easy Way

We don't have a lot of deductions, so Turbo Tax helped me walk through this with out issues. Made it easy doing Taxes.
What's great about it: Walked me right through it with out any glitches
What's not so great: Had an issue getting it to load on Windows 8

good solid program

Have always liked Turbo Tax as a good solid tax program over the years. However, this year the program did not give answers to, nor proper coverage for, CT State 1991 Bond which matured in Dec of 2011 and redemed in 2012. The bond is supposed to be both State and Federal tax free, but Turbo Tax always taxed the bond on the Federal level while allowing tax free status for the State.
What's great about it: covers almost all tax situations
What's not so great: lacked info on state & federal tax free bond

Tax Prep - You're in control

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and I'm quite satisfied with the product. This year all of the HSA info was not very clear. However I was able to find more IRS website. Even then I was still not very clear that I was on the right path. I used my documents from my previous Turbo tax years to clear up the questions.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is still a very good product
What's not so great: I was still confused after the Help Menu for HSA topic.

I have been using Turbotax for 14 years now and have had great results. I am a retired accountant and every accountant I know uses Turbotax.
What's great about it: Almost all - very simple & straight forward
What's not so great: A little confusing when I had to save.
