Easy, quick and user-friendly

The ability to stop and start where I left off was a wonderful feature. Being able to review and revise, being able to search and find what I was looking for. There are not many cons to this software. Now, all I need is for my refund to increase yearly instead of decrease!
What's great about it: Good explanations of all inquiries
What's not so great: If I missed something or needed to go back and edit finding my error wasn't as seamless as I would have preferred.

Convenient!

I enjoy using the turbotax program because it is convenient, less expensive and accurate. I feel like they have our backs as far as being correct. It is also easy to file. We used to go to a tax office and it was expensive and time-consuming. We have been using Turbo tax for about 5 years and it has made taxes much easier.
What's great about it: Very user friendly and easy to follow.

Retired and did it myself. I have paid so much money to cpas
in the past.

I got it done in a half day and didn't have to wait for anyone but myself.
What's great about it: Totally the best way to prepare taxes. Now retired I saved a significant amount of money.
What's not so great: none except surprised they wanted extra money to efile my state return.

Only way to go

Turbo Tax is an indispensible product. I really can't imagine completing my income taxes with actual paper any more. I never have to download a bewildering variety of IRS forms and instructions because tax law changes are already incorporated. Turbo Tax references last year's filing, so I needn't remember and rekey all the charities I gave to, as well as the financial institutions I use. Since e-filing is free, i've been using that, saving envelopes and stamps -- no regrets, I can do without Saturday mail delivery. I also prepare returns for 3 other family members, so the ease of data entry saves me hours every year. And who wants to sit inside in March during the spring in central Texas?
What's great about it: Ease of data entry, keeps up with tax law changes so i don't have to
What's not so great: child's income form is hard to complete; no easy-step for 3rd party designee
Pros: I bought or sold investments

This is my 5th year of using Turbo Tax. each years upgrades are better and better. Super fast and easy to use. Gives me complete confidence that my taxes are accurate.
