Gets easier by the year

Have used TurboTax for many years. Tax filing gets easier every year. Changes in the methodology have been less dramatic as TurboTax has refined their programming. Switching between worksheet input and IRS form result is straightforward.
Used the institutional data import function for 1st time and it saved me hours vs manual inputting.
State tax return was a breeze, taking but minutes after Fed return was finished.
Do not understand why anyone would pay someone hundreds of $$$ to prepare a tax return. You still have to do the gruntwork of organizing the records....!

Turbo Tax exceeded my expectations!!!!!!

I love the fact that I can transfer previous years refunds. It saves a lot of time and minimizes errors. I will definitely buy it next year and will recommend it to all of my friends!

Takes out the guess work!

Our family has been using Turbo Tax to do our taxes for 15 years now. The program just keeps getting easier and easier to use. I love they way they go through everything in a step by step interview process. They miss nothing!
What's great about it: Always up to date with current tax rules!
What's not so great: Not enough free e-file returns for a large family!

So easy and so fast to get everything in and submitted
Also was very happy to see cost basis for stock purchases showing up automatically after import - what a time we live in
What's great about it: Info transfer from previous year - Import capability for W-2 and 1099s - ability to save docs as PDF

I have been using Turbotax for years. I used to dread doing my taxes before Turbotax. Although it is still not something that one does willingly, Turbotax makes it as easy as possible. I sometimes find that Turbotax does not offer an answer to my tax question. Maybe there is a way to collect questions for which Turbotax does not currently provide an Canswer so the answer can be provided in the next year's version of the software.
What's great about it: The step-by-step help is very easy to use. It is much better than filling out a paper form!
What's not so great: I find it difficult to find answers to questions sometimes.
