Simple and easy

Hate to do tax returns, but this software makes it easy. It asks questions and all I have to do is fill in the blanks. It doesn't get easier than this. There is also an improved confidence level that my return has been done correctly.
What's great about it: step by step instructions, easy to understand
What's not so great: don't have any, new user

Quick and Easy

This is the easiest way to file taxes. I have used TurboTax for the past 3 years and would not ever think of using anything else. Beats standing in line and waiting for someone else to fill it out. All you have to do is enter all your information from all W2's, 1099's and all other income and then enter your deducations and it will put everything where it goes and calculate your taxes, not only Federal but state as well. I simply love TurboTax
What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for the past three years and simply love it. It is fast and easy. Just enter everything up front
What's not so great: I have no cons.

It was simple to do. Finished pretty quickly. But when I reviewed things I had to re-enter the "yes" or "no" each time. It slowed me down because I like going back and reviewing before I finish.
What's great about it: Easy to follow

Audit Proof

May be just a personal quirk, but I feel the deduction section of the prdoduct would be easier to use/follow if it were in the same sequence as Schedule A (Medical, Taxes, Interest, Gifts, Casualty, Job expenses, and Other Misc..
What's great about it: covers everything in a clear and positive manner - leaves no questions unanswered.
What's not so great: deduction worksheet not in same sequence as Schedule A

Turbo Tax Review

Easy to follow instructions. Easy to go back and forth to review previous information. Easy save and retrieval. The instructions could use links directly to IRS Pubs. For an education creit we thought was due, it was hard to find out that our income was too high so there was no credit.
What's great about it: Easy and direct to use.
What's not so great: Pretty much fly blind because you do not see the IRS and State forms adn information directly
