What's not so great: would rather have had a "chat" session than wait for the community forum to answer my question.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No easier or safer way to do your taxes

My brother, a retired IRS employee, has always recommended Turbo Tax when I've asked him questions about income tax. Income taxes frighten me, frankly--I want to pay what I owe, I'd always like to get back what I don't owe, and I don't want to get in trouble with the IRS. Turbo Tax is reassuring. I feel confident that it's been done correctly, and, with the audit defense feature, I'm not afraid of a possible audit.
What's great about it: Accuracy, ease and speed of doing taxes
What's not so great: Not a single con

Simple and Thorough!

TurboTax is a great, easy to use software for getting the best tax return possible. It takes you through all of your W2s and any possible deductions step by step and does all of the work for you. I will definitely be using TurboTax again in the future.
What's great about it: Easy to use, covered all possible deductions

Poor directions regarding CD

I was very frustrated that I waited weeks to complete my taxes due to invalid notice in program that forms were not ready. When I contacted your help desk chat I waited over 45 minutes and found out that your program does not allow for updates if disc is in computer. Seems that this should be a blatant direction to the user to remove the disc and run the program without the disc. I would have been done with my return weeks earlier. I had to pause completing as it alerted me that the education credit form was not ready, when I got your email that it was ready I proceeded to complete, however at that time the program indicated that multiple other forms were not available. Only to find out now that they were available all along.
What's great about it: Same as usual, easy to follow
What's not so great: I was disappointed by the fact that the program did not specify need to remove CD to get updates

Excellent way to file a tax return

In about two hours TurboTax went through all my income, tax withholding, and deductions and came up with maximum refunds for me. I have used TurboTax for many years now, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. I especially like its interactivity with Quicken, which I use for my day-to-day financial accounting.
What's great about it: Easy to use and searched for every way to save money
What's not so great: I wish I could get a free e-filing of my state tax return
