I bought this oven/microwave combo three weeks ago and it is wonderful. Even though we have not tried out every function, we are very pleased with it's operation and ease of use. It looks beautiful in our kitchen. I highly recommend the stainless steel.

We purchased this and have used it almost two weeks. It is well built and works well. Two items we suggest for improvement are a back lighted panel for setting the functions, In darker conditions you need a light to see how to set the temperature, cook time etc. Al;so the microwave interior lighting is not adequate. Other than that we are extremely pleased with the unit.

We purchased this unit and installed it ourselves. It was easy and the unit surpassed anything we have ever owned prior. It is beautifully designed to enhance and update our kitchen appeal. The has a very friendly computer control panel . cooks as good as it looks... fantastic. Glad we chose kitchenaid.

I came to this site to get more information on my new oven, and after reading several reviews I thought I'd add my experience on a few of the issues mentioned. This oven replaced a 7 year old lemon oven from another manufacturer that was put in our newly built house. The old oven stopped working 2 days before Christmas dinner and we couldn't even be sure to get a new part for months. So we were lucky to find this floor model and it is light years ahead of the poor design and function of our last oven. I agree, the pulldown microwave oven door is not as convenient for cleaning, but that is a common feature and I found the surfaces of this oven easy to clean, even with the microwave crisper element. The oven cleaning feature worked without a problem (one of the poor features on our last oven). As for the sounds--the fan on most new ovens of this type are loud and so I didn't find that to be a problem. Better still, the timer actually works: our last oven combo had an oven timer that beeped only once (confirmed to be working correctly)--not helpful when cookies are in the oven and you don't hear that one beep! In addition our old oven had an annoying microwave timer that beeped every 30 seconds. It made no sense to have the timer keep reminding on a microwave oven that was no longer cooking, yet the timer on an oven that was still on would beep only once. THIS oven actually makes sense and the oven timer continues to remind until shut off. There are control buttons I am still getting used to, but that is likely because I was used to a completely different (and less functional) combo oven. The only real negative I have found is that the oven does take long to preheat, but the saleswoman made sure I knew that, so I was prepared. I'm looking forward to reading the manual and using all of the new features (convection and microwave crisper). I agree, I would love a product video.

I'm still in the learning stage of this microwave/oven. One thing I am not sure of, the light in the microwave is so dim. But other than that I'm enjoying cooking and learning all the capabilities of these two units together.
