Great value

We purchased this microwave to replace an older model that had "died". We were pleasantly surprised at how good this microwave is. It heats food much more uniformly than the older one. It is VERY quiet. Surprisingly so. My husband is Indian, and this microwave cooks a food called "papad", a crispy indian snack, better than any other microwave we have tried. It is an excellent value for the money.

Simply Designed and Simple to Operate

This kind of product is for me because I adhere to the KISS rule. It is quite affordable for people on budget. It comes in black or white and fits well into a small counter space. Thank you for carrying this model, Whirlpool.

Whirlpool makes a good microwave

I had a Whirlpool in the past and was very pleased with it so I finally got this one (had to order it-it was not in the stores) after trying other brands. It was superior to others in its class but not as good as my old Whirlpool. It performs well and I like the 30 second warm up. The legs do not make black marks on my counters like others brands I had tried. Setting the clock is a little more complicated than the old one (have to hit clock button twice to set clock). Also, the older Whirlpool had simpler features for warming up soup, pizza, plate of food. Now I just use the sensor selection and keep checking it.

Overall this microwave is great.

The only fault is with the button that opens the door. It requires extreme force to open door. If you push the button the whole microwave moves. One hand is required to hold the microwave in place while using the other to push the button.
