I just love this product and its straightforward preprogrammed functions.Also, I like the rotatiing turntable and easy clean-up.Moreover, this product is lightyears ahead of my old microwave that I got from my mother.

Compact, Efficient, Quiet

The first thing I noticed about this microwave was how much quieter it is than the 13-year-old unit (a different brand) that it replaced. I can now hear the TV in the living room when the microwave is operating!I replaced a 2.0 cu.ft. unit with this 1.1 cu.ft. Whirlpool, and am very satisfied with a smaller unit: it takes up less space on the countertop, but cooks and warms everything that I need.A major consumer magazine rates Whirlpool microwaves as highly reliable - that influenced my choice, too.I'd recommend it.

Waited years to finally get a microwave. This one is efficient, has great features such as food temp. sensors and even defrosts food directly out of the freezer. Use it several times daily and saves me tons of dishes.

An average appliance

This product was purchased to replace an 11 year old microwave. I'm not sure of the plastic hinges on the door, we'll see how they hold up. I find it has some excellent features, but the keypad is not sensitive enough for me and I end up pushing the buttons more than once to get them to respond. The turntable has refused to turn on several occasions and has to be 'encouraged'. I think the defrost feature is far superior to my old microwave, but beyond that I would consider this an average appliance.

Meets expectations

This is a pretty standard microwave oven. It is bigger than it looks and I like the space. It's only a 1000-wat oven, though, not a 1100 or 1200 so it doesn't meet the recommended guidelines for heating many of the frozen foods I buy at the grocery store.I have only had it a few weeks, but so far it has been reliable, quiet, easy to clean, and easy to use.The sensor cook feature hasn't been that useful to me. It requires that you cover the food -- but not all the way -- and even when you follow the instructions for that, it seems to cook the food way too long. Maybe that's just a matter of learning how to use it properly. The other cooking modes work fine. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Good Mid Size Microwave

Found the microwave to perform better than my old microwave. Like the sensing technology that does cook what your cooking without overcooking it. One thing I wish was better was the support/ turntable roller. The wheels are not large enough so there is some space between that and the turntable glass. The center spindle looks sturdy.
