Like the microwave, however...

The microwave works well, However the button to open the door seems to be a little hard to press and I sometimes have to press it so hard that it moves the microwave. I ended up putting a piece of wood behind it so that it wouldn't move as much. Is there an easier solution to this problem?

broken keypad at 4 months, replaced promptly

As title states, the keypad went out at 4 months and I called the Whirlpool helpline. They took care of me and I have a new Microwave. It works better. The only thing was it took awhile to process the paperwork, yet I am not complaining. I've only re-heated items up, such as pizza corndogs, cheese dip. Boiled water for tea.. Excellent design, a little loud when it starts but quiet when cooking;.I like it and would recommend it for purchase.

This product has a defective design

Product overheats the center 2" and undercooks the remainder of the turntable. The food in the center gets overdone and the rest of the food is underdone. I would not buy it again. It is poorly made and appears cheap. Very noisy.

Learning a lot and performing well

The microwave has a lot of nice features and comes with a very through instruction book allowing the user ease in choosing settings when using for different purposes and reheating instructions. It's a bit boxy, and it definitely still has the humming sound a microwave usually has. The buttons are a bit touchy too. Over all its job and we are happy with how it performs. With the through instructions, I've learned much about using it.

I bought this as a replacement for a smaller Whirlpool that I had. This one has more features and works great. The Whirlpool brand is of top quality and I am in the process of buying all Whirlpool appliances. The price was excellent. I am very pleased with my purchase.

A good microwave

I have had this microwave for a year and so far it has been very good. It has sensor cooking which is supposed to know how much cook time is needed based on the weight. More often that not it has been accurate.Minor Annoyances - The film that is on the top of the button peels off within a month or two. Not a bad thing, just an annoyance. The button to open the microwave door is pretty sturdy, so I have to hold the microwave with my other hand to open it..more effort than I have used with other microwaves..again not a big deal..you will be surprised the first few times you use your thumb to push down and it doesnt open.Overall a good buy and I would recommend this product.
