Disappointed for a Kitchenaid product

A month ago we purchased new kitchen appliances. Our old cooktop was easier to clean than our new one! Unless you use Dawn to cut any grease, the cooktop will smear everytime I wiped it with a microfiber cloth. The size of the burners is misleading. The small burners are too big for a small saucepan. I like the option of dual or single burner size. The even heat burners work great and do give an even heat. My only complaint is after using the 'even heat' burner a mark was left on the cooktop I can't remove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I almost did not purchase this cook top due to some reviews I read that it was hard to clean. I just could not imagine why and went ahead and purchased based on some input from my sales person. I have used this cook top multiple times now and have had many spills. It cleans up beautifully and is not harder to clean than any other cook top I have owned. I love the look of it and its easy to use features. I really do not do anything special out side of wiping up spills once cooled and I use a stove top cleaner on it regularly. Great quality and this review although submitted based on a promotion has nothing to do with the promotion but my own independent review as this is just a great cook top to own!
