Trash compactor (the smash-a-nator)

Great space saver. we only emply trash now about every 4 days. My husband,being a farmer, calls it our trash module builder. We only with it made more ice at one time. However, I've taken to collecting & storing extra in the freezer compartment.

Great addition to the kitchen!

We have one bag of trash a week with the use of the compactor. Our area is mandatory recycle so only trash goes in there. It does a great job of keeping it compact and tight. I've had a Whirlpool compactor for 19 years. I only replaced with new to go from a black kitchen to stainless steel. I never needed any repairs on the old one at all.

Smooth Operation

I bought this compactor several months ago and have been very pleased. It operates very smoothly and compacts efficiently. There are two foot pedals, one to move the bin out and the other to start the compacting cycle. I love it.

I had my previous Whirlpool compactor since 1978 and still going strong but I wanted to update my appliances w stainless steel. I picked another Whirlpool compactor because I never had a problem or service call w my first Whirlpool compactor and because they were made in USA!!!

Very stylish

This compactor looks great in my new kitchen. Only drawback I found is the foot control to operate it is difficult to access. The last one I had used a control up top that you turned with your hand and it was much easier to access and operate.So far I have had no problems with this unit and I love the way it looks.
I would recommend this to a friend!
