It’s a piece of garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first compactor arrived damaged, both sides bent. The second we received broke on the fifth day of use. The gear broke in half.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great compactor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned compactors for the past 20+ years and this one is by far the best. It compacts the garbage so much better. We change bags every 6-7 days. It does a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Positives: Well packaged, solid construction, much quieter than previous compactor.
Minuses: Don't care for the foot operated start switch and, it can't possibly be all that much more expensive to include an xtra-pack feature.
