I make all our bread. The new oven temperature is not close to being even at all locations in the oven. The back of the oven browns and the front does not. I have to turn everything at least once to even come close to even baking. My wife makes cookies with the ones in the back over baked and under baked in the front. We were under the impression convection baking didn't cause that condition. I made dinner rolls in tins recently; some were dark brown while others were still white.
Pros: Design, Convenient Features
Cons: uneven temperatures, excessive time to heat oven
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This came with a home purchase so I didn't do any research and select it. The convection baking setting is very helpful as you can cook at a lower temperature. Since the fan is circulating the air, the heat transfer is more effective.
It has worked out fairly well as it provides good, even heat.
The only issue is that it doesn't seem particularly speedy to pre-heat
