Very unhappy!

I thought I was finally upgrading from an old oven that, due to faulty insulation, allowed a lot of hot air to escape into the kitchen, only to discover that my new and improved oven did the same thing, by venting hot air at my feet into the kitchen, rather than venting it outside. But that is not the worst feature, not by a long shot. The worst is that the oven has a very noisy fan that runs from the time you turn the oven on to preheat until approx. an hour after you are done cooking. This noise can be heard in the next room, and typically runs for 2 hours, with no way to stop it. The oven is so awful, we try not to use it, just to avoid the noise.

The worst oven ever

I have had this oven for a bit over a year. It's truly terrible and easily the worst major appliance I have ever owned.
The basic issue is that the oven will blow it's thermal fuse from ordinary used. For example, last week I tried to roast a chicken. I roast at 425. Half way through cooking (approx 30 minutes) the fuse blew, the oven shut down, and it's been useless since.
How can an oven possibly short at 425?? For a half hour? God help you if you tried to broil, or use the self-cleaning feature.
This oven had been an absolute dog. It should be serviced next week but it is so, so frustrating to have to constantly have it serviced, and to have to throw out half cooked food.
This oven can't even manage the basics--look elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cant tell you how disappointed I am in my new KA, KEBS109. As soon as I turned on the oven we could no longer hold a conversation. The oven fan was so loud I was sure there was a problem. After i turned off the oven the loud fan continued for over 45 minutes. We cut the power to stop the noise. I called our salesman today to get this fixed and he tells me thats how this product runs. To bad no one told me before the purchase. Now I have to try to get them to take it out and replace with a quieter model. New home all new KA appliances and so disappointed.

Purchased a month ago. The over works well and our food is nicely done cooking. The complaint is that it rattles the wall while cooking and cooling down. I always know from the front room that my wife has turned on the oven in the kitchen because of the noise.

Was really steered toward this by salesperson. Well... So far I hate that it takes forever to preheat and the fan runs forever after your done. Hard to clean anything off inside of glass door. Spots formed after first couple of times I used it. I do like the rack that extends and the glides on racks are smooth. Not sure I'm going to end up being happy with this. Cooking times with such a long preheat take a lot longer in the kitchen. Can't see how this is an energy saver.

While the oven looks great and cooks well, the fans are horribly noise - sounds like they are out of balance or something. Much louder than any other oven I've ever heard. Also takes quite a while to warm up.

The wall oven was installed in Nov. 2013. Extremely noisy fan while cooking and cooling. Turned on the self cleaning feature for the first time on April 20th, 2014 and the whole oven stopped working and the door locked. Repair man came April 25th and couldn't get the door open. His boss came April 26th and got the door open but didn't have the parts needed to fix the oven. Still waiting for parts. I went to trouble of finding the quietest dishwasher on the market but your oven makes twice as much or more noise than my old 30 year old dishwasher ever did

This appliance takes a long time to heat up and then fan run

I previously owned a kitchen aide convection oven (same size) and assumed that this would be similar. I am very disappointed. It takes a long time to pre-heat and then once the heat is turned off the fan runs for often up to a half-hour! Also the directions that accompany the product are incomplete, difficult to follow.
