I was told by installer /repairman that not to use too much self cleaning otherwise the cook top will have problem in 2 to 3 years

our previous kitchen aid double oven needed to be replaced after 13 yrs. we had been pleased with it and liked the look of the new ones. we haven't yet used them as convection ovens (which we haven't had before) but are looking forward to having that use

Phenomenal oven. Fan is quiet, interior color is very helpful when viewing thu window. Wide view windows are exceptional. Thermostat is accurate. Preheat does take longer (15-20) due to elements that are no longer exposed, but this is a minor inconvience due to the exceptional features and performance with this double oven. Highly recommend this product. Looks very nice in my custom kitchen.

While I really like the features of my new oven, I am disappointed I am getting error messages. At times the oven will not work and I have to reset the breaker. This is a big problem for a brand new oven.
