With our open kitchens of today, that fan running forever to cool the oven makes too much noise. Our old oven when you turned it off that was the end. I really liked my old Kitchen Aide oven better. Less noise when we are trying to eat and have a conversation.

We bought the KitchenAid double wall over about 3 weeks ago. It has easy to use features, looks beautiful and the temperature is right on. Each oven has 3 racks which comes in handy. The fans are on whenever the oven is on although not noisy but are not quiet either. Very happy with this purchase!

It's good looks, nice. It's large, nice. just the fans are loud. If you can handle it . I can, my husband not so much.You can open the door to make it turn off faster. But that is what it is that kind of oven. I like it.

I loved the looks of this oven - great blue interior and great racks. I also bought it because it looked like it had simple and easy to understand controls - and it does!
However, the fan is really, really noisy. It cycles on and off while cooking, and when finished cooking it stays on for 75 minutes to cool down. Our first electric bill was much bigger than the old ones. The noise level wouldn't be too bad if we could leave the kitchen, but our kitchen opens into our family room. Ironically, we bought a very silent dishwasher so that we could talk after dinner without being disturbed, never thinking that the oven would be noisy.
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features
Cons: fan too noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought my oven in November. I love the blue enamel interior and the extra large windows along with the easy to use front panel. The only negative is just how long the fan runs in the cool down stage. Guests repeatedly tell me my oven is still on.
