The shaver is easy to use, but doesn't give a smooth shave.

The first time I used the shaver after charging it overnight, I thought that it was not fully charged because it sounded like it was running at half speed. I plugged it in and turned it back on; there was no change in speed. I don't know if it is just my shaver or if this the norm for this model. I am going to return it and find a better shaver.
Cons: lack of cutting blade speed.

Horrible results after shaving

I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone. Does not shave my face well at all. The only way i can get it romotely close to being sheved, is to aggressively push it against my skin. Which tears my face up and makes it break out. By far the worst product, will never purchase an electric shaver again. This has completely ruined my experience with electric shavers.

Good Cutting Performance But Possibly Underpowered

I purchased this model of Norelco shaver because my prior model is about 8 yrs old and I couldn't find replacement heads anymore. It has been great for so long, that I only trust Philips Norelco brand. This new model works fine, and actually trims my face cleaner than the old one, so I really should rate it as excellent. But the motor is much quieter and seems much less powerful, so I am worried about its long-term performance. As an engineer, it isn't fair to jump to conclusions about this new razor, so I'm trying to be truthful. It is very lightweight, with newer battery type, and the heads are fancier than my old, old model. The top pops open easily to shake it out, so it is easier to use overall. But I'm used to more power (and more noise I suppose!), so I'm still worried about how it will do.
I would recommend this to a friend!
