I HAVE BEEN USING THE NORELCO CORDLESS RAZOR FOR MANY MANY YEARS AND FINALLY DECIDED THAT I NEEDED A NEW ONE AND I AM TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THE NEW ONE - - - CAUSES IT IS JUST LIKE MY OLD ONE, BUT MNORE POWERFUL
have owned 2 previous Phillips rotary,s. This new model exceeds them both. the Li-ion battery lasts long. Only 7-8 hrs chg . Easy to clean. Fits the hand well.
My last Phillips shaver lasted over 25 year with many battery and head replacements. This one runs rings around the old one for ease, closeness and over all satisfaction. You could spend more but this shaver gives a great shave for a low price.
My first impression was that this shaver wasn't as robust and ergonomic in the hand as my previous Norelco but it shaved OK. Now after daily use for a few months it has proven to be an excellent shaver. Battery lasts for about 10 days before needing recharging. It's easy to know when to recharge because of the warning light that the battery is getting low. Shave is much closer than previous Norelco I had. The instructions are right...it does take about 3 weeks for the shaving head (blades/comb) to break in. Then the shave is Very close. Overall, very pleased with the product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've used Norelcos for over 40 years and the PT730 is, by far, the best electric shaver I've ever used. Shaves just about as close as a blade, very quiet, comfortable to hold and use. I couldn't be more pleased.

I have been using Norelco razors for over 45 years now. I had to replace one 14 years ago because the airlines crushed my old one. This time the replacement was needed because the battery wouldn't charge anymore; by the way I couldn't get the old battery out because the heads on the holding screws were stripped. Now for the new PT 730. It is very much like my 14 year old product AND it recharges - although it now takes 8 hours vs 30 minutes. Design and ease of use are comfortable. The new head design leaves something to be desired; its not as good as the old design.
Pros: comfortable design., long lasting charge; about 20 shaves., cleans easily with brush or water., right price.
Cons: new round holes in head aren't getting all stuble., tri-direction needed to remove stubble., on/off button easily bumped w/ thumb., razor drug on face for weeks.
Owned several Norelcos for over 30 years. All shaved better than this one.

I've owned and used several Norelco electric razors for over 35 years. All shaved better than this one. The PT730 does not give a very close shave for me, and I have a light beard. I expected what I've been getting in the past. I do like the lithium ion battery, however. It'll run for about a week before needing a recharge. Is it possible that my particular razor could have slipped by quality control? All my other Norelco purchases have been very satisfactory.
