My wife bought this for me for Christmas because she was tired of me complaining about my regular blade razors. The first one had to be returned after the first charge. Something was not quite right with it. When you would switch it on it would run very slow, then speed up and completely quit. The new one has worked flawlessly. Have no complaints about it at all. Wish I would have gotten one sooner. It is so much faster and more convenient than regular blade razors. I would have gave it 5 stars if the first one had not given me any problems, but even the best stuff can have a bad egg every once and a while. Great product, you should be very happy with it!

Very pleased with features and charging life of batteries

Bought due to old shaver not performing well enough, replaced because I needed closer comfort and battery charging capabilities. In short time I have owned this shaver, have been very pleased with it. This shaver has much better charging longevity than my previous shaver. Now I don't have to plug it in to recharge as often as old shaver. Shaver head assembly designed to work with blade surface and face contours, for closer shaves.
Pros: recharging longevity, head design, ease of cleaning

Closest shave I've had with an electric shaver

I have used Norelco shavers all my life, always the triple head variety. My last one made me want to switch to another brand; it was one of those self cleaning system shavers. The shaver never gave me a close shave and after roughly five years, the charger and self cleaning system stopped working, forcing me to buy a new shaver. I was upset that it didn't last longer. but the fact is, it did me a favor by making me go out and buy this product. After comparing every shaver I could find on the shelf at several stores, I chose the PT730 since it was a middle of the road price and I don't need the bells and whistles of the more expensive units. When I got it home and charged if fully, I tried it for the first time and was totally and completely amazed at how close it shaved compared to what I had been used to using for the past five years. It is easy to use and clean, since you can rinse it out under the tap. I highly recommend this shaver and see no need to buy any of the more expensive models.
Pros: close shave, easy to clean, lightweight and good ergonomic design

Inexpensive and cuts very close with one or two passes even with three days growth. Fits in hand comfortably and the trimmer is great for sideburns and mustache. Would recommend.

I got my first Norelco razor when I joined the Navy in 1959. I really liked it. Apparently, so did someone else as they stole it from me. I replaced it and have owned a Norelco razor ever since. I think I am on number five now in that 53 year period. With my last razor, I left it plugged in too long and destroyed the battery. I called the help number to see if I could buy a new battery and the nice lady told me my razor was still under warranty and that she would replace my razor with this one at no expense to me. What a nice surprise. This long line of Norelco razors have always been well designed and good shaving razors. My only complaint is that I think that when you buy a new razor you should get a new case with it as the case I have now is from three razors ago and is looking a little ratty and I have not been able to find one in the accessory section of the website. Paul B.
