Where are all the apps?

I bought this Black Friday and was excited to get a blu-ray player. When I received it and went to hook it up, such a major disappointment when I realized I had to go out and buy a HDMI cable because it didn't come with one. Then I finally hook it up to find out it doesn't come with the "BASIC" apps like Pandora, Hulu, ..etc. VERY UPSET and will be returning.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How to get more apps!

This link says it all how to get more apps http://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000004-CT10000086-1346871944811 . Whenever I get the Vudu app, I'll get the Lion King in 3D on Ultraviolet and watch with my son at my mom's house. Gotta to get the 3D glasses now!

Major problems

Received this item as a gift, was able to watch one and half movies on Netflix, then the machine quit working. Unable to repair with tech support. Had to send the machine back.

I am extremely disapointed and I haven't even set it up yet.I open the box only to discover that I have to go back out and purchase a HDMI cable because it is NOT included. I have never purchased anything where this happened before. I will think twice before I buy another LG product.

NO TV CONNECTION

I was just hooking up my brand new player, right out of the box...but there is no HDMI cable to hook it up to my tv. There is only the ac power. I have to go buy one? What a pain. I'm definitely contacting LG.

Great blue Ray would buy one for room if i had new tv needs better instructions on how to set up but once i got it great.

Ok for the $ ?

I am still trying to find out how to get my surround sound to come through this device? No way I guess. We had a plain old DVD player that worked great and we had surround. Now my surround only works for the TV and when we play a Blue Ray DVD the sound comes from the TV. NOT happy about that. One tech told me if the surround came from the TV, the Blue Ray is connected to the TV (and it IS with the HDMI cable) I should have surround. I don't! Also not happy the HDMI cable was not included, didn't know that till we were home, had to go back out.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!
