Samll but very powerful

I got this unit to go with my LG 42 inch 3D tv and it work great with it so far. I got it in Dec 2012 have enjoyed watching movies with it.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Love that it is wireless

Picture from BluRay movies look great. Love that it is wireless, no extra cords for internet connection. Good selection of streaming. I haven't used all the features yet but so far is a great product.

Excellent playback, lacks features

The picture quality is exceptional! But, it lacks features, and the ability to add them. Plus, you can only add 5 brands of tvs to the remote. But, for the price, it's an amazing value!

I love product cause it turns my tv in to a smart tv and it delivers a clear picture. Great for Netflix, VUDU and Pandora!

Lacks Basic Popular Apps/ Do Not Purchase

I bought 2 of these DVD players on Cyber Monday. I was expecting them to have all the possible internet Apps, including Hulu Plus and Pandora. It did not. As i read through the question and Answer section of this website i notice the repeating answer of "that's why the DVD player was inexpensive" in regards to the missing Apps. Adding Apps to the software of the DVD player is not expensive. It's just a way that LG can charge you more for the high model which contains those Apps. Not worth it. I am returning my two DVD players today and will replace them with another brand of smart DVD players which include all the internet Apps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some retailers seemed confused as they advertised numerous features about this unit which are not true.
This is a 3D BD player with some minimal smart-tv functions -and that's it -nothing more.
2 pay services, Youtube, and some other nonsense.
I cannot imagine any future upgrade options would be made available as they would certainly make this unit compete against the more expensive units. WiFi? It is far too slow to allow Youtube to work without constant pauses. My other similar products worked well on the same WiFi network.
Save yourself the bother and pass on this one -get a more capable unit for a little more money.
If I may be so bold -LG, lower the price of this thing, and have your retailers clean up their errant advertisements, or remove this player from the market.

Wheres my Pandora

When I saw the Wi-Fi was in the DVD player I was excited and jump to buy the DVD player, once I hook it up and got ready to listen to Pandora I realized the software was not on the machine and could not figure out how to get to Pandora. My last LG player had Pandora preloaded. I saw the black Friday ad and found it online for the same price.

There are no directions with this product. The cable needed to connect the bluray player to the TV is not included. That should be indicated on the box. What a rip off. I will be returning product for a full refund. I doubt ifI will ever buy another LG product. NO STARS
