BP200 is compact and easy to use.

The BP200 Blu-Ray player is compact and easy to use, it may not be a full featured player but it is Ethernet ready and most importantly for me is DC powered, that is it can be used in a Motorhome or another setting where DC power is available as well as powered with the AC power supply. In an age where Solar Power is on the horizon more DC products should and I'm sure will be available. The BP200 already meets this ability and is one of the main reasons we purchased this Blu-Ray player.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, dc powered
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lack of straight forward features list

I bought this player expecting it would at least include medialink playback because I could not find any definite answers on the website or elsewhere. Upon receiving the player I was very disappointed to see that it did not and this was after I was unable to connect to my wireless network and had to set it up to a wired connection temporarily. It is a great player for someone just watching DVD's or blu rays but otherwise steer clear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Liking everything about this demure black box, options upon options and all laid out pretty clearly. However, getting it registered into my Wi-Fi network is a bit more than I anticipated. After finding my network, and after I entered the password, it still wanted a static IP address and DNS...hmmm... Will have to get back on this after I have some time. No internet, but otherwise, nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for watch DVDs

I don't recommend this product unless you only want to watch Blu-Rays. I've had this for 2 weeks and still can't get it to connect to Netflix. I tried to give it a chance, but it has to go back.
Pros: play dvds

Tried to set-up on Christmas morning. made it half-way through the process and it shut off. Will not turn back on. I have tried numerous wall outlets and even double checked to make sure the one behind the TV was hot. The problem is with the device.

does not play netflix well

I unhooked Wii and ran netflix through dvd player. We always have to reconnect by punching in network code. I called for technical support and was walked through disabling netflix and enabling again to fix problem. Worked a little and have had to do it several times which is very time consuming. Needless to say I have hooked the Wii back up and am much happier. I would not recommend this product if you want to use it for internet.

Overall we like this unit, good little blueray player, however it is a very small unit and rather fragile.
