Love, Love Love my Roby!!

As a senior I find that I'm not having to get down on my hands and knees as frequently. Roby gets under couches, tables, tight spots, etc, that I was having difficulty reaching without moving furniture around.
Pros: Although I've Only Had My, Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Covers Entire Room, Deep Cleaning Ability, Large Debris Bin, Long Run Time, Quiet

Not only is this the most fantastic item, cleaning beautifully and thoroughly, Amelia has also become our schnauzer's best friend. She has actually figured out if she "pats" the top it will turn on. She then proceeds to chase it, barking with delight the whole time.

Seeks & Sucks Dirt & Terrier Hair

I first purchased IRobot's 4200 in 2002 from the Sharper Image. Still working, just replaced brush/paddle Components through IRobot... great staff to deal with and reasonably priced. I was intrigued by the 780 & improvements, so when they offered it at a Sale Price Promo for former customers, I couldn't resist. I have three Dogs, Two Rat Terriers and a Rescued PIT Bull, which are inside animals along with my compulsively cleaning wife. Our Son, Boomarang Boy, moved back with us because of the economy. We also have a HouseKeeper who vacuums and Mops our hardwood floors on Friday. Nonetheless, the new 780 is incredible on what it picks up daily. I empty it into a Gold Pan and show my wife who habitually will get the Electrolux out several times a week to supplement the maid or punish me with that Super Loud Jet Engine exhaust typically when she is upset at me for not cleaning up to her liking, and this typically happens when I'm trying to watch content on my Roku. Since the two Rat Terriers and Pit Bull reside in the Family Room and Kitchen area (Hardwood Floors), the shedding for short hairs is surprising and the new 780 with it's improved advanced sensors, hunts down this pet hair and dust every day, you have to see it to believe it. I show what the 780 finds to my wife, and even she is impressed. Since I've put the 780 to work, Mamazilla hasn't resorted to pulling out that heavy Electrolux Once. I also schedule the 780 to make a sweep of the garage floor nightly @ 1230AM. It never gets stuck and returns to its docking bay like magic. The older 4200 used to get stuck under certain furtniture and couldn't deal with the carpet-rug tassles, but not so with the 780. It is far superior in many ways. The professionals staff at IRobot did not steer me wrong. I have a Home Based Metal Detecting Business and Customers Frequently visit my show room set up in the garage area. Leaves and Tree Debris seem to always blow in. No problem for the 780 and 4200. I also use the 4200 out in the back yard to pick up dust and leaf debris off our pavers. Works very good. I think I'll keep the 780 as the Inside Bot. I would suggest a little plastic telescoping device you could raise up to prevent your Robot from getting stuck, but so far Guapo Roboto has dealt with all our furnishings. I also like to run the 4200 and 780 together and watch the Team Effort. I do have to carry the 780 to the 2nd floor and then turn it loose. Convenient built in handle. What more can I say.... Maybe a Scoobie Do in our future, or is that Scooba?

It's the best

I've owned my 780 unit (Harry Houdini - goes anywhere) for about a month now. I predominately use it on tiled floors and it does a fantastic job. I'm super impressed with it. It has far exceeded my expectations. We have dogs so pet hair has been a problem, but not anymore. It thoroughly cleans my mats (with fringes) to better than my other cleaner. It's very easy to operate and program, set and forget and come home to a cleaned house. I'd highly recommend it for use on a wooden or tiled floors. The times I have used it on the carpeted areas it has been equally as impressive, but I didn't buy it for that purpose.
