[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Far too little of a fine product at an outrageous price. The ink is too expensive to use on any but the most important projects and always seem empty when you really need them. The produce beautiful natural colors for far to shoet a time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Paul,
I am sorry that you had this experience. It was sure to be disappointing.
It is possible that the reason you're having a problem is because of the maintenance routine run by the printer. A few drops of ink here and there are used to keep the inkjets cleared and ready for your next print job. Those drops can add up if you don't print too often.
It is a good idea to shut the printer down between uses. However, it is very important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the printhead is protected from excessive drying which leads to clogging of the inkjets.
If the poor performance you experienced appears to be due to a defective cartridge, please check about returning it to the seller.
YEL 935XL cartridge used in HP Offc. Jet. Pro 6230 Prints cleanly on std. 20# paper. Need to purchase HP recommended inkjet paper (we just moved cross country) and have not filled our laundry-list of various "staples" we need to setup shop. Standard paper rendering of ink looks OK, but am anxious to see results with proper HP recommended paper. The ink volume is holding up very well so far.
