My apologies for this happening to you. With this type of printer, poor printing performance is usually due to clogged nozzles in the printhead. They can be cleared by running the printhead cleaning from the printer's menu.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked getting the three colored ink cartridges in one package. The colors are bright and clear. However, the orange plastic thing that has to be removed before installation is very difficult to get off. In fact, I couldn't do it. I had to wait until a friend came and removed them for me because I don't have sufficient strength in my fingers and wrists to take that off. My friend, who is much younger than I and stronger, was able to do it, but even she found it difficult. I know its purpose is to protect the ink and prevent spillage before installation of the cartridge, but I would think a better way of doing that could be found.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I put the cartridges in the printer it was damage, but I took it out and put them back in and it work. So far it has been a good printer.
