Gmail Calendar no longer works.

Fridge is beautiful but one of the main selling points of this Fridge is the 8" Android tablet that's built in. It has a calendar that you link to Gmail so your family can post appointments from their phone or computer and they will automatically sync with the Fridge. This no longer works. When you login it tells you that the Gmail security settings are not compatible with your "smartphone" (fridge). So much for an tech fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great refrigerator! The size is great, I love the ice maker, the freezer is a great size.The computer is woderful, but it really needs a bar code. It is cumbersome to add groceries, and especially to delete them. A bar code scanner that would allow a scan when putting the item in, and when taking it out would be so much better. Hopefully when the bar coder becomes available, this model will be upgraded.

Great Fridge SmartThinq is NOT Smart

We brought this at the end of November and love the refrigerator but are not at all happy with SmartThinq. The interface is poor and the connectivity with things like Google Calendar and other apps are so awful. There is supposed to be a application but I only found a android version. My family currently uses IOS. LG needs to do some major work to make this smart. For now I would buy a Fridge without the SmartThink and paste a tablet to the front.

Did not meet expectations, does not have apps that you can pick from, you get what you get. the food manager is glitchy not letting you delete stuff or set no expiration date on some products , it really needs a barcode scanner especially when you come from grocery shopping a lot easier than looking for it on the screen . It looks like whoever develop this didn’t actually use it. Some apps like Pandora and youtube, twiter,facebook etc would be a plus but nonexistent, also android app is a little funny looking I wonder if somebody actually used it . Really disappointed with the smart fridge thats not that smart, the only positive side is the grocery list, is awesome, if you can get your kids to mark that there is no more. As a refrigerator I have to give it A+ for awesome space and organization.

Unfortunate design flaw

Looks pretty, great interior, especially the easy access three level freezer. The main flaw is that when you use the crushed ice, it flys out all over the floor. It is impossible to catch it all with any size cup. LG says this is normal operation for this unit. We returned it for the same unit except for the standard ice maker (no LCD screen), which is useless anyway. Hard to believe Goodhousekeeping gave this an award, makes me wonder if they really even tested it!
Pros: unfortunate

This is the best refrigerator I have ever seen. It has lots of room, the interior lighting is excellent, it is quiet, and it is beautiful.

I like my new refrigerator, there is only a few things I need to address to everyone, after having it only 1 week home, the face plate started popping off, and after 5 months, I'm dealing with electrical LCD screen issues, that I'm hoping its minor fix. Overall its a great refrigerator, but too pricey! Calling Customer Service today!

I love the three doors and the ice maker. Love the depth of the freezer. Everything in the refrigerator is so easy to organize. Beautiful appliance! My neighbor is purchasing one like it because she loves mine!
