As expected.

We have been using the washer/dryer for about one month. Clothes are dramatically cleaner than our 25 year old unit and the clothing actually gets dry in the dryer. The metal cover on the start/stop unit seems to be loose and can't be tightened and sticks out. I'm not sure if mine is defective, Lowes broke it prior to delivery, or if it is designed that way.

This machine is ideal for the small apartment. It is compact, easy to use and quite durable. The sound level is average.

great size for the single person

I love the size no wasting of water. When using a full size washer you either have to adjust thr load size or wait for making a full size load, but as a single person this washer is just the right size and clothes are just as clean as with a larger washer.

Difficult to find stackable washer/dryer. Happy with this purchase. Previous (non-whirlpool) washer lasted 368 days! This seems to hold up much better. Bit noisey but both units get the job done. Dryer fantastic. Love the click-hold for loading the washer

Too small!

I have always purchased Whirlpool appliances and have been happy with them, but this washer/dryer stackable is too small to do an average size load of laundry. It doesn't do a good job washing, and takes at least two cycles to get clothes dried. Living in south Florida, I cannot take a chance that my laundry will get mildewed if not completely dried. The washer basket is already "shredding" - the plastic rim is peeling off, and the dryer has a brown "burn" stain on the aluminum plate in the dryer. I will have to purchase a new washer/dryer as soon as I can afford to.

The machine was installed about three months ago, and has worked to perfection ever since...it is much quieter than our old one, seems to hole more and does not clatter or make noise - and everything washes and dries extremely well. I love it!!

Fits small space

Installing the dryer vent was very challenging. By definition, this unit was installed in a tight space, so access to get the dryer vent installed was very limited.
