Noisy and extremely small

I've had this product for about 3 months. I needed a small set in order to fit into my apartment. It cleans well but is extremely noisy. It takes 8 loads in this washer/dryer to do 4 normal loads in a regularly sized washer/dryer. If you can possibly get something larger, do it! I also think it is extremely overpriced for the quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too Noisy

We had a previous version of this washer dryer and it was great and lasted for 16 years. The heating elements in the dryer stopped working and rather than replace it we bought an entirely new unit. Mistake! The new unit is so noisy on the wash cycle that I think something is wrong with it - from the first usage. I should probably exchange it - but there is no guarantee a new one would be less noisy. It is used in a second home - condo.

I needed to replace a Whirlpool combination washer/dryer unit that was 15 years old! I bought the exact same thing and I'm glad I did. I hope this one lasts as long!

This unit is extremely loud in operation. It has no unbalanced load cutoff. Extremely small capacity in washer, and dryer rarely completely drys clothes on the automatic cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really love my new Whirlpool washer/dryer combo. It fits my space perfectly. I am most pleased with the cleaning/drying results of this unit. The unit is relatively quiet, another plus in smaller places. It is attractive as well. Would recommend without qualification.

Love my 24 inch Thin Twin! Sturdy, simple, washes and dries very well. Compact which is what I wanted and needed for condo closet but holds more than you think and washes and dries it all very well. More than enough cycle options, and dryer miser works - it shuts off when dry so you don't have to guess nor over-dry the clothes. I hope to have this w/d for years to come and would buy it again without hesitation. Please don't stop making this basic w/d! I do not want fancy electronics or water level sensors that can break. This one fills with water and really cleans. It is normal agitator type noisy, not bad though. Dryer very quiet and buzzer at end is NOT bad like some say - it is a "buzz" and is just one time, quick. Perfect w/d!

We have had this style housed in a closet on the 2nd floor of our house for over 30 years - love the convenience of washing more "personal items" and leaving the "big stuff" to the first floor washing machine and dryer...this is our 3rd one and the best so far...it's quiet, does a very good job cleaning the clothes and stays "in balance" so much better than any previous brands that we bought - I'm SOLD on Whirlpool products!
