I filed around October. The Georgia state return would not update. Your program would not let me e-file until I completed the Georgia update. I had to mail it in. When I went back in to plan for next year, the Georgia state return updated.

I've been using your tax software forever and I'm a retired CPA. Obviously, I like the software and will continue using it.
The one thing that i have an issue with is navigating between forms. When I need to go back to an area, it seems cumbersome to me to go back to where I was. I seem to have to go through a number of pages to return to the exact location I was originally at. I think this could be make easier.

Crappy product. Interface not very user friendly, not clear as to what actions a filer has to take. When I tried to file online to the IRS, I kept getting a message at first stating my return was accepted then later filed by a message from the IRS saying my return was rejected. NO EXPLANATION WHY or HOW to CORRECT!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not good on the amended filing

quite bad amended filing experience
horrible AI - failing to understand questions and giving bad advice
but VERY GOOD human phone assistance - would not have been able to do the federal without him!!!
NO SUPPORT at all for state amended filing though

used this for many years. linkage between fed and some states isn't perfect (e,g, trust gross income doesn't carry over from fed to NJ), but of course the correct amounts can be entered manually where necessary.
