I used it for a few years, but I do not think I will anymore. It would point out data that requires verification, but it is problematic to get there and make the corrections. And then, it tells you it is error free and then trying to e-filing it becomes a hustle.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe 2026 Software on my desktop computer for 7 years since 2019. It has consistently been easy to use and navigate allowing me to complete and submit (with free eFile included) my Federal tax forms. Over the years, new features have been introduced to keep up with current tax changes. The price, especially when on sale during tax season, is very reasonable compared to competitor's comparable software and H&R Block Software versions have all the great features without the high price tag.

I've been using Turbo Tax for several years and was surprised that they wanted me to use Windows 11. Unable to switch and or upgrade I still currently using the older version 10. I was pleasantly surprised on how detailed H&R's software was. I'm going to be using thier 2026 version next year. I'm sold on H&R.

Terrible software!! I was unable to e-file my New York state tax return because I previously filed my federal tax return with a different tax software. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Will use a different software next year!!

I’m a senior on fixed income. Somewhat computer ‘literate’. Navigating the software was a pretty straightforward process. The only problem I ran into was that the software doesn’t highlight the fact that the IRS differentiates between the 5 digit pin to sign electronically (a pin the user creates to file electronically ) and the SIX DIGIT PIN the IRS assigns to you (through the mail) as a means of identification. If it does highlight it somewhere I missed it. As a result, my attempt at electronic filing got kicked back to me and I was forced to hunt for a PIN I didn’t know I had. Well, I found both of them (my wife and I) and problem was solved but this could have been avoided by maybe illuminating this critical step to completion somewhere at the beginning of the process. Again, if it was I missed it. But, other than that extremely happy with the purchase.
