Very comprehensive tax preparation software.

I have used H&R Block software for too many years to remember. I have always been able to do at least 90% of the interview and form creation. The shortcomings are because of my special situations dealing with K-1, importing 1099-B trades, and the handling of grouping trades and wash sales data entry. I have never been audited by the IRS but feel confident in my filings.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

I have been using this software and am generally good with it. However I was falsely under the impression that a single state efiling was included with the federal efile. No chance and not happy to be charged for it.

The software needs to ask for the IRS ID #, it changes every year, so last years auto fill will cause an IRS rejection and refile both state and federal. I had to efile twice and pay with CC for State twice

Federal tax program better than the state program
