2024 ALL UPDATES downloaded. Was an absolute DISASTER. Program did not flow as in the past. Could not get back to sites to enter late received forms. NEVER a problem in the past. After using all five(5) attempts at a federal return gave up and paid, at significant expense, a local service. Program was TRASH and seriously considered NEVER AGAIN.
2025 After 2024 and cooling off, decided try ONE more time. Purchased online. The process of downloading and activating made me think "SUCKERED AGAIN"! But, after several frustrations was able to get the program successfully installed. With much trepidation/foreboding, I was unexpectedly surprised and pleased to experience the same quality of preparation I had become use to for the 15-20 years prior to 2024.
Will now be gun-shy each time in the future.

your downloads of AZ return needs some updates on claiming credits I had deduction for school donations and St Mary's food bank which was over my AZ tax bill. It was confusing I had to go in and reduce what I actual gave to net the correct refund. I don't know if I can carry the amount allowed over.

I've been using H&R Block Deluxe + State for the last several years and have found it to be easy to use, accurate and very helpful in identifying deductions and options to reduce my taxes. The software is fairly easy to use, but I don't see why it has to round off numerical entries. It is much easier to verify the accuracy of of data input when the entries are not changed immediately upon entry.
There is no reason that a modern computer needs to round off entries to the nearest dollar. The numerical entries should match the ones from statements exactly. It would be easier to determine the source of a particular value. Rounding off is only useful for doing taxes by hand.
Also, a nice feature would be a side-by-side comparison with the previous year's data to identify the sources of major changes.
