I have used HR Block software for many years now. However, this year. I had a problem with this software it locked up the files. I spent many hours trying to get this corrected with your people. I also had to redo my taxes after the problems was fixed.
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

About the only plus this year was that I was familiar with the product. It seemed to import much less information than in previous years which is my reason for two stars.

Software worked easily. One problem: I checked the box that said send a check with my refund. 2 weeks after I filed I received a request for my banking info for direct deposit. I double checked to make sure I designated a refund check. Is this a problem with Blocks software?

I have been using this software for many years through many different life situations including job changes, relocation, retirement, etc. it has never let me down. The “interview” is intuitive and the software always seems to keep up with changing tax laws. I’ll continue using this until it’s not needed ( … culmination of one of Franklin’s life constants).

I switched from TurboTax to H&R Block tax software five years ago because TurboTax required users to work and store their tax data on its cloud platform. I prefer to work and store my tax data on my local computer. H&R Block software is easy to use and allows users to download the software and work on local systems.

Deserves a ZERO. I had almost finished my return when I attempted to enter data. Wasn't able to, although the data was correct. I sought solutions but none worked so I finally started over again with TurboTax.
