[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old Philips shaver with this one. It works great, takes me typically 1.5 minutes to get a good shave, charges fast enough and I have yet to use the cleaning system for the first time. I'd very much prefer if the space between the edge of the head and the active circular mesh above active the rotating shaving blades would have been smaller, like it was in earlier models. The way it is it is harder to shave the mustache direct under the nose.
As far as the phone app goes it seems to me the phone often has trouble connecting to the shaver and most often requires several tries. Why cannot the shaver do its job and remember the last session and sync/download it to the phone app when connected anytime? The information it provides is scarce and doesn't seem much worth the effort. The too much and too little pressure light colors yellow and violet are not intuitive to me. I'd like to see not just a list of past shaves data, but the eventual cumulative trends - am I getting better at using the device or not.
On my old Philips shaver I was taking off the head after every shave to flush it better under the faucet. With time it developed a problem where the head would occasionally pop out of the shaver on its own while shaving, falling in the sink, opening and spilling the cut hairs and getting wet. For this reason I won't be using the detachable trimmer head so I don't wear out the shaver head and/or the shaver part where the head attaches to it. Very old models had this feature as a non-detachable part and going back to that design would be appreciated in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment I unboxed the Philips Norelco i9000 Prestige Ultra, I was impressed. Coming from somebody who does not use electric razors, that says a lot! I have taken the time to use this bad boy a few times and I have gotten better and better each time—it is not super easy for a beginner. I did have razor burn on my neck the first time, but I figured it was a “user error.” After all, it does not take an expert to see that you are holding the crème de la crème of electric razors. The carrying case is convenient and will travel well. After I opened the device, I had a full charge in less than 40 minutes. Neither loud nor unwieldy, I am looking forward to using the app and getting comfortable with being a regular user of electric razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a few weeks ago and honestly, its ok. On first glance, it seems really cool - it has pressure alerts, can be connected to bluetooth, has settings for different kinds of shaving. I tried using it wet, dry, and the precision trimmer (on sideburns). All times, I was left with multiple patchy areas of hair and would have to go over multiple times or just go back with my regular razor. Shaving definitely took way longer than normal so that was a bit of a let down. Otherwise I appreciate that it comes with a carrying case. The battery life seems fine now but I’ve only had it a few weeks. Cleaning it was very easy which is also a plus. Would I recommend this? Probably not, you could just get a different less expensive foil razor and I’m sure it would work just as well or better.

Amazing device for dads!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Razor has a lot of exciting features, one for notification cleaning the rotators on the device. I haven't had an opportunity to connect Bluetooth app yet but all the features will be utilized. UV cleaner doubles as charging case.

Best Shaver I’ve Ever and probably will ever try!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried MANY electric shavers but have never found one that could shave a close as a hand razor. Especially on the neck. I always went back over my neck area with a hand shaver to prevent shirt collars from snagging neck hairs missed by the electric razor.
This razor is SUPER SMOOTH and cuts the hair so close you can not see even a stubble. Closer than any hand razor.

Easy fast shave and great for travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice electric shaver. It is very well built and has several great functions. It comes with a carrying case and is lightweight. Which is great for traveling. The battery life is goof. I can get several shaves from one charge. It is super easy to use and clean. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because like all electric shavers it does not give as close of a shave as regular razors. Overall I like this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! This razor has every feature you could ask for. Various settings make a custom shave simple and efficient. I an able to take this razor with me anywhere I need it, and have the peace of mind that the UV feature will take care of keeping it sterile. I especially like the sensitive skin feature that actually works. No pulling or razor burn. The craftsmanship and ease of use make this product worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, I have never used a electric razor before on my head and going forward, I will be using this razor. This thing just blew me away. The first time I used it. The effectiveness at doing what it’s supposed to do is amazing. The portability is great. It’s very durable strong. The features are different settings you can use sensitive regular intense so on and so forth the value for the money is great. This has me hooked. I will be a long time user going forward. I lost my hair about. 10 years ago and I’m bald and I was always a nuisance to shave my head but going forward as long as I have this every couple days I could keep my head shaved. It keeps it close just like a razor perfect great product two thumbs up. I can’t see enough good about this product! Highly highly highly recommended!
