Feu mon père utilisait il y a longtemps un rasoir Philips à deux têtes, beige et ivoire si je me souviens bien. Puis, progrès oblige, il a ensuite acheté un rasoir Philips à 3 têtes, puis sans doute un deuxième et un troisième. Quant à moi, j’avais aussi un rasoir Philips à 3 têtes, rechargeable, que j’utilisais depuis bien longtemps, en alternance avec l’utilisation de rasoirs à lames et de crème à raser. J’aurais sans doute pu me contenter de changer les lames de mon rasoir Philips, mais j’avais le goût de me faire plaisir. Et ce fut un réel plaisir que ce rasoir m’a apporté: un rasage confortable, des attentes comblées. En résumé, une histoire de famille et de confort.

I’ve been using Philips i9000-series shavers for about 50 years, so I think I’ve earned the right to have an opinion! 😂
In those 50 years, I’m only on my third shaver, and I’m now using the i9000 Ultra. I absolutely love it!
What amazes me is that every new generation has somehow managed to make a shaver I already loved even better. The i9000 Ultra gives me an incredible shave, and Philips continues to find ways to improve the technology and the overall experience.
And then there are all the bells and whistles — and yes, I love them too! The lights, displays and little high-tech touches probably aren’t necessary to get my face shaved, but let’s be honest… they sure make shaving a lot more fun! 😂
After 50 years, I’m obviously pretty loyal to Philips, but that loyalty didn’t happen by accident. The quality, performance and continued innovation have kept me coming back for decades.
Three shavers in 50 years says a lot about the product. At this rate, I may have to live another 50 years just to see what Philips comes up with next!
Five stars all the way. Keep up the great work, Philips — and keep the light show! 😄

A fair shaver with unnecessary high-tech extras

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver is well-made and has many technical innovations relative to its Philips predecessor, which I had. However, being able to control my shaver from my iPhone it’s not something that I would normally do or want to do, The Bluetooth control is just a gimmick and adds nothing, especially as all those functions can be controlled very easily on the shaver itself.
My main reservation is that it is not as comfortable to use as its predecessor. The three shaving head don’t flow effortlessly over my skin regardless of the setting.
One good point, it is very easy to clean both on a daily basis and using the cleaning pod.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phillips Prestige Ultra does a better job of shaving my head and face than my older Braun series 7.The only negative I can find is it is bulky when trying to shave under your nose and mustache area. Other than that, it is one of the best shavers I have ever owned and is almost as good as my regular manual shaver (except under the nose).

It recharges really fast. I wish it had come with a small brush to sweep out the hairs like my two Phillips that I had in the 80s did.
