[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had used a Philips electric for a number of years but was looking for a replacement. I ordered a model that I thought would be good, but it turned out poorly. I saw this model advertised but was hesitant because of the price. I knew I would use it for many years and decided to make the investment. A very wise choice, indeed! This razor is a gem: smooth, comfortable, efficient. I love it…!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used rotary style shavers for decades and I have learned to stay with Philips/Norelco brand for consistency. This shaver is excellent, comfortable to handle, and works well against my beard. Is it worth what the Mfg is asking? That's questionable. Blade slap my old 9000 series and it'd get the job done just as well in my opinion.
The hard case charger/UV disinfector is a neat value add but why no travel case? As a consumer, I'd rather have the travel case instead of the liquid cleaner thingy. Speaking of cleaning, you must keep up with the head cleaning. Disassemble weekly and clean'em up. I use a foam and wet shave, this unit has already locked up once because I skipped a weekly cleaning.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a competing well known shaver for years. I decided to try the Phillips Norelco i9000 Prestige Ultra shaver. It did take a few weeks for me to get used to moving the i9000 in a rotary motion on my face rather than a back and forth motion as done with my old shaver. I initially tried two different electric shaver pre-shaves which did help the i9000 glide easier over my face. But they both had a strong odor (even the one that was 'odorless') which were disagreeable to me. Over time, I've found that the i9000 glides on my face fine without any pre-shave. This shaver has colored lights telling you the optimum pressure to use. I found that I get the good green light when I press the shaver down an amount that I think is normal. I've also found that I don't need to go over the hard to shave areas around my jaw line as much as when I used my old shaver. At the end of each shave, you easily pop open the shave head and run the shave head under water to clean out the shave stubble. This is much easier than the cleaning method for my old shaver. Every once in awhile I do use the special cleaning device that came with my shaver. It's very easy to use but I'm not sure that it's necessary. The main reason that I really like the Norelco rotary shaver is that it is quiet! My old shaver would rudely awaken me every morning with its loud sound. The Norelco rotary shaver has a quiet hum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips S9000 Prestige XP9401/92 earns 5 stars for delivering a manual-razor-close shave with zero irritation. It is a premium investment, but the flawless performance is completely worth it. I highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin looking for a fast, top-tier grooming routine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best elecric razor shave I have ever had. It goes you a close shave without irritation. I have Sensitive skin and I highly recommend the i9000.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent product. Purchased to replace an older version of this shaver. Much closer shave and more options on the shaver. Liked it so much I purchased a second one for my son.
It delivers the best shave I have ever had with an electric razor. I transitioned from a Braun 9000 series and it was the correct choice. Really impresses with the quality of the product and the shave it delivers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the razor. I just can’t keep the guidance light on. It was on when I got it, next shave it wasn’t on. I tried to go through the settings and get it back on but had no success. I called support but they wanted all kinds of information that had nothing to do with my question of how to get the light back on. I finally figured it out and it worked for two days. This morning it’s off again. Frustrating to say the least.
