I use a pre shave with my shaver set on Sensitive and am amazed how comfortable this shaver is. My subjective opinion is that it shaves as close as the blades I’d used previously. I like the variety of settings and features, but doubt I will use the app with each shave. Cleaning is a snap with the cleaning pod and hinged head. All in all this was an excellent investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I haven't been shaving for a few years, just trim up with a 1 mm trimmer. I have a terribly sensitive facial skin, so shaving has never been a joy. I switched from a Norelco to a traditional blade razor when I went into the military due to the impossibility to get that Norelco clean. I never thought I would start shaving again until I saw this shaver. OMG, what a difference it has made. I use the app to regulate my circular motion and more importantly, my pressure. The app wants me to shave less than 3 minutes, which can be a challenge, but I'm getting used to it. Then comes the cleaning. Just place it up side down in the cleaning solution and let it do all the work. Not only does it clean the hair out of the shaver, it also lubricates and freshens the heads lea ing it ready to go for the next round. Now I find it dries faster if you pop the head open and leave it to dry in a clean area like a counter top. Give it an hour or two and then place it in the UV light cleaner. Just drop it in carefully to the UV light cleaner and close the lid. This will disinfect everything in just a few minutes, but more importantly it's super clean and ready for the next shave. Now at night, use the rubber brush head and add some face cleaning cream to massage the whole face. This was what sealed the deal for me. I can gently clean my face without the mess. And it feels soooo good. Don't get me wrong, my face is still sensitive and may have a bump or two, but nothing like before. This is the best shaving system I have ever had.the pleasure of using. I love it.

The only thing that bugged me is it come with the cleaning station as my previous Phillips did. Other than that, I use the old cleaning station on this one. And ensure I brush it out almost shave, and the cleaning station at least once per week. Thanks Phillips!
