[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love to shave with it. Owned Norelco for more than a couple decades. This one gives a close shave. Closest yet. Comfortable. I trust the UV does what they say. Works great for charging. I tried the app but don't use it much. The extra set of heads is a real bonus because on my 9000 it got to where I could no longer find replacement heads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is no aftershave burn sensation. Skin feels amazing. But there is still hard to reach places like under the chin and jawline. The color indicators are great but I get frustrated because it is not a close shave in those difficult areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The i9000 prestige ultra shaver is really good. Since I’ve bought it I haven’t used razor blades since. I get a close shave and use it with the Art of Shaving cream which gets me a close shave and smells good.

I’ve used several electric shavers over the years, but the i9000 Prestige Ultra XP9402/31 is in a league of its own. The closeness of the shave is remarkably near a traditional blade without any of the irritation. The sensor that adjusts to hair density seems to work flawlessly, especially on my neck area and under jawline which are usually the trouble spots for me.
The running light charging pad is a nice premium touch, and the cleaning pod makes maintenance effortless. It feels solid in the hand and the digital display is very clear. It’s an investment, but for a daily driver, it’s worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a Braun 9 series for years and years and finally I decided I'd try something else. The difference between that and the Phillips 9000 is dramatic-- it shaves much more smoothly and closer, and with very little noice. I have a very tough beared and this shaver makes short work of it. The real-time feedback is interesting, sometimes I feel like my shaver is displeased with me (LOL) but it does actually help you slow down and get a good shave. Firmware updates, etc, work as they should. Honestly, I'm blown away. I didn't think a shaving experience could be pleasant but this one has changed my mind.
