For flat lying hairs that grow in multiple directions, it did not perform as I had wanted it to. Also created some skin irritation. I returned this and went back to the old Gillette.

Il ked the i9000 Prestige so much, I gave it to my son and purchased the i9000 Prestige Ultra. I liked the Ultra even better. My son told my how much he liked the i9000 I had given to him.

My First Electric

So, My entire life I’ve pretty much shaved with cartridge razors or an SE. Never tried electric. As I’ve gotten older(55) the time it takes to shave my head and face with an SE or cartridge was about 30 minutes. So I decided to jump in and buy an electric. The Prestige Ultra was where I settled. First time I used it I was expecting a large learning curve. There was very little. This shave was just as good as any cartridge or SE. And it all took maybe 10 minutes. It got every spot.. Neck.. chin.. under my lip. No razor burn. I’ll never go back to regular razors ever again. This is definitely worth the buy.

This S9000 was to replace an six year old s9000. It is much quieter , smooth and easier to clean with just a push button tto open the head. The shaver is much closer . Comfortable to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is no doubt the best Norelco razor yet! Over the years, I have used many Norelco razors but this one tops them all. Some models have had subtle changes but this one takes the cake in closeness, comfort and quickness in shaving. Have used Norelco for many years (lost count). The redesigned hinged shaving head was really needed! Thank You Norelco!
