[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a nice upgrade. The device is a bit bigger than my old ones which I like that. It is really good looking one too. As far as performance, It is doing a really good job of cutting close and leave smooth skin. One thing that I do not like, is the sharp corner/edges of the three part of the head in the middle section. Often they catch my skin, especially when it is in a position that one or two is pushed in and the other one is out. I feel the edges of the three head have sharp corners rather tan rounded corners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An excellent electric razor. The shave is everything it is advertised to be. It is absolutely the quietest shaver and once you get used the shaving techniques of the triple head (I used the foil head razors) it is a comfortable and smooth shave. With the app, the razor can communicate using your smart phone and I haven’t explored all those yet. The 9000 is not cheap but for me has been worth the expense. Have not used the trimmer attachments yet. I’m an older man, many age related wrinkles, gives me a close comfortable shave.

Replaced XL8894 which is 20 something years old. The battery lasted twice as long as the Ultra. It was easier to hold and had buit-intrimmer. Norelco could have had a better product by just using the SH92 blades on the old shaver. By the way, the 8894 still works and has a 120 minute battery life.

I have been using Phillips Norelko shavers for the last 30 years. I have owned at least 7 - 8 over the years. This is by far the best one I have used. Closest shave ever and that was in the "Regular" setting. The blades are sharp and do not require going over and over the same area to make sure that your face is completely smooth.
